Visit our Travel Health Clinic and improve
your chances of staying healthy while away.
Our Pharmacists have advanced specialty training and certification in travel health. They will discuss what health risks may be encountered based on your destination and itinerary, and provide advice and/or vaccinations to help prevent illness during your travel. They can also advise you about traveling with chronic conditions, medications, and answer questions regarding many common travel problems.
Recommendations are based on the most current information from Health Canada, the World Health Organization, and the Centers for Disease Control.
The provincial health plan does not always subsidize travel vaccines or medications. However, we are able to bill a variety of extended medical plans directly, or can also issue receipts that can be submitted to extended medical plans. Due to provincial regulations, we can only administer vaccines to persons five years and older. Consultation fees apply. Group rates available.
It is recommended that you book at least 6 weeks in advance of your departure if possible as some vaccinations may require a series of injections. However, if you are leaving on short notice we will vaccinate you appropriately.
Please bring along a record of your previous immunizations.
Appointments are necessary. Our clinic is open Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm. Evening appointments are available with advance notice.
